Bansen – a name, a trademark, a boutique - In 1981, when it was still part of an important national editing company, Bia Bansen was invited by the German Chamber of Commerce to take charge of that entity’s press consulting activities. It is an agency focused on assisting its costumers-friends.

External Communications

This area involves planning and developing external communications strategies for companies and institutions. We prepare press and video releases, set up exclusive interviews, organize news conferences, suggest participation in special events, and organize and supervise company events. It also involves fire-fighting - planning and developing communication strategies for critical situations.

 

Internal Communications

 

This area involves planning and developing internal communications strategies, editing in-house publications, planning and supervising internal events such as parties, lectures, and seminars, as well as aligning the company's visual and written communications.

 
 

Media Training

 

A special training program intended to help executives achieve the confidence level required to hold news conferences and exclusive interviews to both printed and electronic media (radio and TV). In addition, we prepare such executives to deal with emergency situations.

 
 

Fire-Fighting

 

This area involves preparing and analyzing communications strategies to be applied to critical situations. We provide the client with special assistance, help disclose the information required by the media in such situations, and set up urgent press conferences and/or exclusive interviews.

 
 

Publications

 

This area involves planning, writing and publishing in-house business publications designed for both company personnel and outside people. At present, BANSEN & ASSOCIADOS COM:UNIC,AÇÃO! prepares, edits and publishes the following newsletters (house organs):

Bia Bansen.  Between 1972 and 1981 Ms. Bansen worked for Jornal da Tarde newspaper at several desks (from general news to international politics). In 1981, she established bansen & associados com:unic,ação!. She is a member of the Journalists’ Union of the State of São Paulo and a director of the National Association of Media Communication Companies.

Marília Schumann has been a director of bansen for more than 20 years. She is in charge of customer relations and supervises the company’s administrative affairs. She also organizes a series of events such as news conferences, luncheons, seminars, etc.

Alexandre Moreno, journalist, copywriting director, has been working at Bansen since 1997.

Antonio Joaquim Silva, finance director, has a degree in Physics from University of São Paulo (USP), a Management degree from Getúlio Vargas Foundation and an MBA from LARC/USP.

Clean Barros, journalist, publishing editor, has been working at Bansen since 1997.

The exhibition The Tropics - Views from the Center of the globe, bringing to Brazil some 130 works of ancient art from countries in the tropics of the world (Africa, Asia, the Americas and Oceania), come from the collection of the Ethnological Museum in Berlin, considered one of the most important in the world, and 87 works by 23 contemporary artists from several countries, including paintings, drawings, photographs, sculptures, videos and installations.

The high art of German food will also be one of the attractions of the German-Station KULTURFEST 2007 / 8, which began last year and will continue through October this year, a promotion of the German Government, the Goethe Institute and other partners. Between February 26 and 08 March the chef de cousine Simon Tress lead to six Brazilian cities the best of contemporary German food.

Playboy Magazine - We prepared a communications strategy for the magazine and organized the news conference held by Ms. Adriane Galisteu, cover girl for Playboy's 20th anniversary issue. We also coordinated exclusive interviews held by the Playboy Group's CEO, Ms. Christie Hefner, in December 1996.

NoCapricho San Pablo
NoCapricho São Paulo - Largest teen event in the country that, in its eighth edition beat its own record in terms of audience. From October 24 to 26, 17,500 teenagers were present at Espaço das Américas in São Paulo, enjoying about 24 hours of attractions on the stage and in all areas of NoCapricho. When programming the 2008 edition of NoCapricho in São Paulo, we point out the fashion and live shows. Outside the stage/runway throughout Espaço das Américas, NoCapricho promoted a number of special activities. The seven workshops gathered 1,800 participants. CAPRICHO is the largest teen brand in Brazil and the only one in the world holding the leadership on all areas where it operates with a magazine, website, own event and varied products for teenagers

Disclosure of the reconstruction project undertaken by the prime minister of Lebanon, Rafik Hariri. Rebuilding a country devastated by war (1975-1990) in just over a decade is at least a challenging work. The revival of Lebanon went from dream to reality in little more than a decade thanks to the visionary spirit, the entrepreneurial and the relentless determination of Rafik Hariri. The project, pointed out by many as unthinkable, has few parallels in the history of humanity on the speed and sophistication with which it was implemented .

RECONSTRUCTION OF THE SQUARE OF THE LEBANESE-SP: To endorse the endless struggle of the Lebanese sovereignty and freedom of the Lebanese Square received a bronze sculpture of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri, a tribute to all the Lebanese colony to great leader who did so much freedom and rebuild their country. Shares in the press releasing the initiative of the Lebanese community in the reconstruction of the space offered by the city of Sao Paulo to the community in 1999.

work and fair disclosure of the events 50 years Israel, organized by the Consulate General of Israel and the Jewish Federation of São Paulo, held at the Memorial of Latin America. The fair consisted of several discussions, exhibition of Israeli products and a concert by singer Noa.
